科研项目
透明柔软的薄膜晶体管电路在未来电子纸、柔性电池、电子标签、柔性显示和透明显示等领域具有广阔的应用前景,器件性能的突破源于新型有机或无机材料的发现和选用。不同于传统的硅基电路,柔性电子器件需要采用新材料和新技术制作于柔性的塑料等衬底上。氧化物半导体具有较高载流子迁移率,但机械柔韧性较差。有机半导体的室温工艺条件和低成本优势是未来柔性电子发展方向之一,但其载流子迁移率较低、环境稳定性差等问题仍亟待改善。新型碳纳米材料(如碳纳米管、石墨烯)具有优异的电学、光学和机械特性,适合于制备透明柔性的薄膜晶体管电路,将极有可能促进柔性电子器件的发展。

2011年在NT11 International Conference on the Science and Application of Nanotubes会议上,获得“Best Poster Prize Winner”奖。
2009年获得Sensors and Actuators, A: Physical杂志颁发的“Valued Reviewer”奖。

人物访谈
全国人大代表、中国科学院金属研究所研究员孙东明2006年吉林大学博士毕业后,留学日本东京工业大学和名古屋大学,从事微纳电子器件领域的博士后研究。2012年,孙东明回国,加入中国科学院金属研究所,主攻纳米碳材料电子器件研究。
2018年,作为青年科技工作者代表,40岁的孙东明当选第十三届全国人大代表。
疫情期间,身兼中科院金属所工会主席的孙东明冲到了防控前线。一度紧缺的口罩激发了孙东明的科研灵感,他对学生说:“我们是研究纳米碳材料的,新材料能不能应用在防护产品、病毒检测上,就看我们了。”
3个月时间,团队已经有了一定科研成果。孙东明说,疫情给我的最大启示就是带着问题去进行研究,从国家和群众需求的角度搞科研。
